Vou
fazer um relato histórico simples e direto.
Em
1979 ocorreu a Revolução Islâmica no Irã.
As
declarações oficiais e as instituições do estado iraniano
passaram a adotar uma posição francamente antisionista. Israel
O líder religioso do Irã, Aiatolá
o presidente Bush incluiu o Irã no chamado “Eixo do Mal”,
2005 o presidente do Irã, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad questionou o
Holocausto e pediu que Israel fosse varrido do mapa. (lembrando
estremeceu
suas relações
junto a Israel.
Nesse
The
enemy of my enemy is my friend or my enemy ?
I
will make a straightforward historical report.
In
1979 happend the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
The Shah Reza Pahlavi, who was supported by USA, was deposed from
power. The Shah asked for politic asylum in many countrys and was
welcomed by the United States. That same year, the US embassy in
Tehran was raided by the Iranians to protest the Americans accord
asylum for the Shah. After the invasion, diplomatic relations between
the two countries ended. (Reports of a story that can be seen in the
movie Argo).
After the second phase of the
Iranian Revolution of 1979, when it established the Islamic Republic,
Iran also cut all official relations with Israel. Official statements
and the institutions of the Iranian state began to adopt a frankly
anti-Zionist position. Israel an old ally of the USA in the region
adopted a global policy of isolating Iran .
After
two years, the Iraq started a war against the Iran (1980-1988).
During the war, the Iraq was supported by US and by Russian. But in
1986 the american newspapers discovered that USA had sold weapons to
the Iran. After this political scandal and after the war between Iraq
and Iran started to disturb the world market oil, the UN intervened
to the ceasefire and to the end of the conflict.
Two
years after, in
1988 one american war ship down a comercial airplane from Iran Air,
killing 290 people, 66 of them children. After that, the relations
between the countries already broken became unsustainable. The
regilios lider from Iran, Aiatolá Khomeini declared war to de "great
satan".
In
1997 the Iran tried to return their diplomatic and economic relations
with another countries, especially with the West and in 2001, after
the attack of September 11, the Iran supported the US in the war
against Afghanistan. But in 2002 the president Bush included Iran in
the so-called "Axis of Evil".
In
2003 with the US invasion of Iraque, both enemies of Iran, made
Shiite groups linked to the Iranian government came to power in Iraq.
On the other hand, the Americans accuse Iran of funding and training
Shi'ite militants against American soldiers.
In
2005 the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad questioned the
Holocaust and called for Israel to be wiped off the map. Recalling
that Israel works as a mediator of self-interest and USA with the
Middle East. And in 2008 the US and Israel in partnership with the UN
increased the penalties established to Iran, citing the possible
crianção of nuclear weapons
In
2009 in the Obama government, the americans signaled an approach to
restore the diplomatic relations to Iran, causing internal political
controversies.
In
2014/2015 the US encountered with another enemy, the ISIS, a
terrorist group that occupies a part of Syria and a part of Iraq.
They are a terrorist group that became a country in 2013, naming the
califa Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and that moves millions dollars a month
by oil export and taxes.
After
36 years, the USA in 2015 began to advance in his diplomatic
relations with Iran, and the same time shuddered his relation to
Israel. Currently the Iraq, Iran and USA are together in a military
offensive against ISIS. And Israel in turn, feels threatened with
this possible approximation.
No
only the USA, but a part of europe also tries to approach to Iran.
One country over 80 milhoes people and
the fourth largest oil producer in the world,
can be a big market to explore against a weak world economy.
In
this world political chess the question becomes: The enemy of my
enemy is my friend or my enemy ?
I
think the answer is, depends how much money we are talking about.
